Terms and Conditions

Booking and Provision of Training Courses

These Terms and Conditions set out the contractual agreement between Cheshire Aesthetics & Beauty

Academy (“the Academy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the individual or organisation (“you”, “the student”, or “the

customer”) booking or attending any training course delivered by the Academy. These Terms apply to all

courses advertised on www.cheshireacademy.co.uk, booked online, or arranged through our sales team. By

proceeding with a booking, submitting payment, or attending training, you confirm that you have read,

understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not proceed with

booking or attendance.

1. Business and Consumer Status

Where you are already operating within the health, beauty, or aesthetics industry, you enter into this

agreement as a business customer. Where you are not yet operating within the industry, you enter into this

agreement as a consumer. Nothing within these Terms is intended to limit or exclude your statutory rights

under applicable UK consumer legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. However, certain

protections available to consumers may not apply where you are acting in the course of business.

2. Formation of Contract

A booking request constitutes an offer by you to reserve a place on a specific training course. No contract

shall exist until the Academy issues written confirmation by email confirming acceptance of your booking and

the required deposit or full course fee has been received. Any automated payment receipt does not

constitute acceptance. The contract relates solely to the confirmed course date(s) and the named student

identified at the time of booking.

3. Course Fees, Deposits and Payment Plans

All course bookings require payment of a non-refundable deposit unless otherwise stated in writing. The

deposit secures a place on the selected course and is deducted from the total course fee. The remaining

balance must be paid in full no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the course start date unless an

alternative payment arrangement has been agreed in writing. Where a payment plan has been approved,

you agree to make payments strictly in accordance with the agreed schedule. Failure to do so may result in

suspension of course access, cancellation of attendance, or forfeiture of fees already paid, without liability to

the Academy.

4. Refunds and Course Materials

All deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Once course materials, digital downloads,

online portal access, manuals, or training resources have been issued, and the course has been confirmed , no refunds will be provided including full or partial payments under any circumstances. Access to digital content is deemed granted upon successful delivery or availability, regardless of whether the materials are accessed, completed, or utilised. Online courses are non-refundable

once access has been provided, due to the immediate allocation of resources and licensing costs incurred

by the Academy.

5. Cancellations by the Student

If you are unable to attend a booked course, written notice of cancellation must be received by the Academy

no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled course date. Cancellations received within fourteen

(14) days of the course date may result in forfeiture of the full course fee. Failure to attend without priornotice will be treated as non-attendance and will result in loss of all fees paid, with no entitlement to refund,

credit, or rescheduling.

6. Rescheduling and Transfers

Requests to reschedule a confirmed course date must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability

and the Academy’s discretion. An administration fee of £25 per course applies to approved rescheduling

requests. In cases of verified medical or compassionate circumstances, the Academy may, at its discretion,

place the deposit on file as a gesture of goodwill. Deposits held on file remain valid for a maximum period of

six (6) months from the original booking date, after which they will expire and be forfeited.

7. Named Student and Non-Transferability

All course bookings are made for a named individual and are non-transferable to another person. It is your

responsibility to ensure the correct student details are provided at the time of booking. Requests to amend

the named student may incur an administration fee and must be submitted in writing no later than forty-eight

(48) hours prior to the course start date. Approval of such requests is at the sole discretion of the Academy.

8. Minimum Age Requirements

Face-to-face beauty training courses are available to students aged sixteen (16) years and over.

Face-to-face aesthetics training courses are restricted to students aged eighteen (18) years and over due to

insurance and regulatory requirements. Online courses are available without age restriction. You

acknowledge that insurers may impose additional age requirements for public liability or treatment-specific

insurance and that it is your responsibility to confirm eligibility prior to practising.

9. Attendance, Punctuality and Completion Requirements

Students are required to arrive at the Academy at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

Late arrival may result in refusal of entry to avoid disruption to other students, and no refund will be issued in

such circumstances. Full attendance for the duration of the training day is mandatory in order to be eligible

for certification. Students who leave early, arrive late, or fail to complete training within six (6) months of

booking will forfeit all fees paid and may not receive certification.

10. Scope of Training and Certification

All training delivered by the Academy is provided for educational purposes only. Certification confirms

attendance and, where applicable, successful completion of assessments. Completion of a course does not

grant automatic permission to practise, prescribe, administer, or offer treatments to the public. The Academy

does not provide medical, legal, regulatory, or insurance advice, and certification does not guarantee

professional recognition.

11. Insurance, Licensing and Regulatory Responsibility

It is the sole responsibility of the student to ensure they are legally entitled to undertake, practise, and offer

any treatment, procedure, or service taught during training. This includes responsibility for confirming

eligibility for appropriate insurance cover, local authority licensing, council registration, environmental health

approval, and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. The Academy

makes no representations or guarantees that completion of training will result in insurance approval,

licensing, council consent, or regulatory recognition. Any inability to practise following training is not the

responsibility of the Academy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy shall not be liable for any loss of income, loss of

business, loss of opportunity, regulatory refusal, insurance refusal, or inability to practise following

completion of training. The Academy’s total liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be limited to

the total course fees paid. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury

caused by negligence or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Amendments to Terms

The Academy reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will apply to all future

bookings and, where required by law, to existing bookings with reasonable notice provided.

14. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Any complaints arising from these Terms or the provision of training must be submitted in writing to

salesteam@cheshireacademy.co.uk. The Academy will acknowledge receipt within twenty-four (24)

business hours and investigate the matter in accordance with its complaints procedure.
